This fountain is made of brick that is over 200 years old. It is a Pre-Victorian inspired Oxfordshire cottage water feature. The trough of the fountain is an old inverted roof tile. The cottage where it was built is an old sheep herder's cottage and was part of the original land grant that the King of England issued the Duke of Marlborough. The house below was built with locally harvested wood from managed wood lot.
